Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

- OpenAI / Anthropic — AI conversation features
- ElevenLabs — voice synthesis for audio courses

Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
5. AI Conversation Privacy
Conversations with our AI practice partners are used to improve the service. We do not share your individual conversations with third parties. You can delete your conversation history from your account settings.

8. Children's Privacy
Our “Bislama for Kids” course is designed for children aged 6-12 under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent.
9. Platform Transaction Safety
All payments on Learn Bislama are processed securely through our platform. We protect both students and instructors by:
- Holding payments in escrow until service delivery
- Providing dispute resolution for platform transactions
- Maintaining records of all communications and transactions
- Offering refund protection for unsatisfied services
Warning — Off-Platform Transactions: We strongly advise against making payments or arrangements outside the Learn Bislama platform. If you choose to transact outside our platform:
- Your personal and financial information may be at risk
- You will not be protected by our dispute resolution process
- We cannot verify the identity or legitimacy of the other party
- You do so entirely at your own risk
10. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove personal data within 30 days, though anonymized analytics data may be retained.

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
